Ok, so it's been a while since I posted. I wanted to get some pictures and videos on here so you all could see what we have been up to. Plays, Dances, Scouts, More Plays, snow, school (no pictures) Mock Trial and Mock Congressional hearing competitions, and Travel. Mostly Randall Travelling. Unfortunately, I forgot that Blogger has no sense of timing and so these pictures are all in reverse order. I tried to upload video of Randall in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, but it stopped working. So, I'll have to try again later.
But here is one shot of Randall (as Caleb) Logan Loveland as Gideon (he's our Bishop's Son) and Jacob Gavatos as Frankincense. Before Millie gets their "inside clothes."

Anna went to Prom this is the group she went with. Yes she was the shortest girl and was with the tallest guy. Jacob is about 6'3".

Connie altered the Pink and Peach Dress for Anna's friend Suzanna. It turned out really nice.
Anna made this dress. They were still sewing when the guys were supposed to be there to pick them up. They called and told the guys to be late.
Connie helped, but Anna did most of it.

Robert E. Lee's Mansion. Randall was involved in a Mock Congressional hearing competition as part of his government class. This is the third year in a row Blackfoot has won the State competition and gone to nationals. They competed against 51 other teams from each state and a couple of territories. They placed 19th at Nationals, beating last years team by 20 spots.

The Jefferson Memorial (foreground) and Washington Monument behind.
The team is divided into 6 groups. Each group writes 3 papers and then has to present them orally and then answer questions from the panel of judges.

The view from Mount Vernon. Randall is apparently in charge.

It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'

Randall, Kia and Erin doing their impression of the Abbey Road Pose.

Caden got to play JR. Jazz this year. Basketball seems to be his favorite sport to play. He is getting pretty good.

My waiter costume for Hello Dolly. A lot of fun.

Anna and Miss Money. Miss Money is really Mrs. Simpson. We were in her ward before we moved. Her husband is a Judge.

me and Miss Money. She and I had part of a scene where she flirted with me then chased me off stage, prior to Dolly arriving.

Randall received the Venturing Leadership Award at the Council Award Banquet. He is a member of the Venturing Officers Association. He is also staffing at Cedar Badge again this year. Cedar Badge is the National Youth Leadership Training put on by the Grand Teton Council. It is the flagship NYLT program in the BSA.

No this is not December. This was 6" of snow that we woke up to on APRIL 6th. Happy Birthday Connie!!

We camp no matter the weather. The end of March we had a campout. It snowed and blew and was quite cold. After Dinner, we went inside and watched up and had dessert. This is Caden and his friend Cameron. This was Caden's last requirement for his Tenderfoot Rank. He received it on April 10th.

March 25 and 26 was the State Mock Trial Competition. This is Randall on the witness stand. We got smoked, but we had a lot of fun. They were a good group of kids.

Randall playing Governor. This is Governor Otter's chair. Randall is signing legislation mandating that Redheads count as two votes.
This was taken after the State "We The People Competition.

The entire Blackfoot High "We The People" team inside the capital rotunda.

Randall's group, plus Tia Halloway. The one in front is Tia. Randall, Amber and Matt were the group 1 team. They placed in the top ten for their grouping at Nationals. The only group to do so.

Another one of Caden. He's a 'baller.

The Choir Program has a fundraiser every year. It is called the Renaissance feast. THis is the set up inside the Performing Arts Center. The only time food is allowed in there.

The kids all dress up in Renaissance outfits and serve the dinner. This is Randall's peasant (not pleasant) outfit.

In March I got to go to Seattle to help Daniel with the Custody of Kaydan. One of the smartest and cutest kids I know. He is a blast.

Connie was awarded the "Rookie of the Year" award at the District Awards banquet. She had just been released as the Webelos leader a couple of weeks prior and put in the Young Women's program as the 2nd Counselor and Beehive advisor.

Not a great picture but they were kind of a blur. Anna and Logan at the Jazz Dance. Randall is playing in the band. These two were phenomenal on the dance floor.

District Mock Trial. Randall giving his Opening Statement. We really tore it up at Districts. We just couldn't finish at State.

In February or March, Caden recieved his Webelo's badge, and Arrow of Light. This was a really cool ceremony, done by the local chapter of the Order of the Arrow.

He was also "bridged out" and into Scouts. Here he is being welcomed by his 11 year old scout leaders. They are awesome.
